Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
We are seeking volunteer actors for our staged reading of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, an original adaptation of Carroll's iconic tale. Individual actors may play multiple roles. The following roles are available:
- Alice
- White Rabbit
- Mad Hatter
- Cheshire Cat
- Caterpillar
- Queen of Hearts
- King of Hearts
- March Hare
- Dormouse
- Duchess
- Cook
- Key
- Lorina
- A chorus of animals
If you would like to be considered for this upcoming production, read through the audition guidelines and submit a tape (or audio clip) of yourself performing a one-minute classical monologue, along with your headshot and resume, to felix@lamplighttheater.co. (If you have auditioned for us recently, please feel free to re-submit the same material).
Audition Guidelines
This show will rehearse in the evenings between August 25th-30th. Please note any potential conflicts — finalized rehearsal schedule will be announced following the cast list and is dependent on actor availability. Auditions are due on August 20th at 10:00 PM.
We will rehearse at Texas Woman's University and perform at Harvest House (near the square) on August 31st at 9PM. There will be two additional performances at TWU on September 6th at 2PM and 7PM. Actors must be 18 or older to work with us — please note that patrons must be 21+ to attend the show at Harvest House.
